"We had a lovely light dinner, Bread Selection with Aleole, Potatoes Bravas and a Capreese Salad. All was really good! They also had an excellent selection of music, all older soul music, perfect for me."

"Roots restaurant / café bar is set tucked away from the main tourist strip on a quiet corner , but don't let it's location cloud your judgement of it's credibility . Well where to start with this place ! & What a find I discovered , this place is a million miles away from the mainstream & something very special indeed , this venue has been somebody's special venture & it's creation is an experience that I'm sure should you visit you will be talking about long after your holiday has finished it really is very special . The vibe of the roots is relaxed & informal , & it's decor is an amazing collection of baroque & antique furniture , coupled with a mix of modern fixtures for the bar & dining areas & the fusion works very well it has all been done with attention to detail & very good taste , might I add . The bar / café restaurant has an excellent range of both local & international drinks , plus a suprise up it's sleeve for the tea drinkers who may want to explore the exotic herbal range which I have been told are very nice . The staff here are very welcoming & friendly & upon both my visits did make the effort to make my visit a pleasant one . The menu here is also a change from the norm , as it offers some Carribbean fusion dishes along side with a good range of more traditional meal & snack options . The prices here are reasonable for a tourist area for both meals & drinks ! Please may I add that the measures of spirits here are larger than the UK so you are getting a double measure plus in your glass . Roots is in my opinion a top class establishment that offers a unique drinks & dining experience in a beautiful setting , with polite & friendly service . I'm sure should you visit you will enjoy the root's experience ! . I'M GOING BACK !! ."

"We had two breakfast option and really… it was simply perfect. We chose the Nordic and the American. Perfect blend with bagels, eggs, salmon, fruit. Great rate and really well presented. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and perfect. If you’re fed up with hotel breakfast, GO TO THIS PLACE. We sat outside which was better than inside."
